PA-C, Orthopaedic Trauma Services
Energetic, patient-focused PA-C needed to join our orthopedic team in Grand Junction, Colorado. Rocky Mountain Orthopaedic Associates (RMOA) is a 14 physician, 11 PA practice that includes general and subspecialty orthopedics as well as PM&R, and primary care sports medicine.
We are currently seeking a trauma PA to help us enhance our orthopaedic trauma service. The OTS PAs will be located at St. Mary’s hospital, a level II trauma center that serves much of western Colorado and eastern Utah. Primary duties will include ER triage, performing minor procedures, assisting in surgeries, facilitating discharges, and management of orthopaedic trauma hospital patients. The PA may provide some services at our primary office location and at other surgical facilities as needed. Trauma PA’s will also be required to cover at least one night of trauma call per month.
The candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate of an accredited PA program.
- Current Colorado PA license with prescriptive authority through the Colorado Board of Medical Practice.
- Eligible or certified through NCCPA and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Colorado.
