March 2016

I was airlifted to St. Mary’s on October 23 with a distal radius fracture with destroyed ulnar artery. Dr. Gammon took on the case late in the day, including surgery in the evening. I am deeply appreciative not only of his dedication to helping me, but also that everything has healed nicely without complications.

August 2013

I was injured while on a visit to Chicago. I needed ankle surgery, but wanted to come home for the procedure. I was not familiar with any of the orthopedic surgeons in this office, and needed an appointment with one of them quickly upon my return. I spoke to Katie who went out of her way to help me. I was frantic and asked her to get me in with any of the surgeons. She coordinated getting the X-ray to Dr. Gammon, and had put me on the schedule for surgery, so little time was wasted once I got back to Grand Junction. Katie, thank you!!!!! I will never forget the concern you had for me, and I look forward to thanking you in person. RMOA is lucky to have an employee like you:))

Dear Dr. Gammon,
Thank you so much for taking care of my fractured arm at St. Mary’s Hospital. My doctors back home in Longmont, Colorado, said that whoever took care of me in Grand Junction had done an excellent job on my arm. They stated that everything was “perfect” and that they didn’t need to recast my arm because it had set so well. Thank you again.
