Pediatric Orthopaedics

Because children are not just small adults and often cannot explain what is bothering them, orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Mary Beth Deering has received additional training in pediatric orthopaedics to help her examine and treat children in a way that makes them relaxed and cooperative. Pediatric orthopaedics focuses on treating musculoskeletal disorders in children from infancy to 18 years of age, including scoliosis, clubfoot, fractures, cerebral palsy, pediatric sport injuries, spina bifida and musculoskeletal growth disturbances.
